Hey and welcome to identifying web elements with selenium web driver. So happy to have you here. This is one of the most critical sections that you can cover in regards to functional test automation not only for selenium but in general element identification is one of the most key aspect when it comes to doing any kind of functional test automation whether using selenium driver or not being able to locate an element in the hd a mile and be able to interact with it. It’s one of the most critical skills that you can learn if you can’t identify an element you can automate it therefore you fail. Speaking of what exactly are we going to learn. First we’re going to start off by learning the basics of it here. Yes you need to know the basics of HTML web driver so that you can utilize those locators inside of the HCM cell to be able to identify the elements so that we can interact with them.
